Days 11 & 12 -- Fernie or Durham...a vote will be taken

Day 11
Breeze family reunion in Winnipeg

after a little help from Rich on the phone with 'work' stuff we were off to
David and Shelly's
arriving at 2:30 we were surprised to be the first ones to get there
gave us time to catch up before the rest of the gang got there
once the rest of the family arrived the party was in full swing

it was great to see our Canadian and British cousins
the sun came out just in time and the kids had a great time in the pool

after a wonderful catered dinner Dave brought out an
old trunk that belong to our uncle Jack
he had June and I open it and it was full to the brim of stuff that was uncle Jack's
things he had collected over the years including his army uniform

Everyone took some time looking through the trunk
we were surprised with some the things that he had saved
such as newspaper clippings, magazines, a tin of talcum powder and the like

the next topic of conversation was when to hold the next reunion
Fernie or Durham...a vote will be taken
as we had left Missy in the trailer we were the first to leave around 8 o'clock

Day 12
Saturday, July 13
Another beautiful sunny day
dad recently broke his glasses so after breakfast at the campsite we tried
to scout out the nearest Costco so we can get them fixed
Costco couldn't  help us out but a jewelry store in town opens up again on Monday
we will check them out hopefully they can fix them

Back to the reunion again with lots of chit chatting and catching up
then another great catered dinner
we headed back to the trailer to listen to the
Lion's game against Edmonton and the Lions won
 toodle-loo
S, G & M
